How to transfer Capital One Rewards Points:

Capital One Rewards Points are a great way to earn and redeem rewards for travel. You can transfer your Capital One Rewards Points to a variety of airline and hotel partners. Here's how to transfer your Capital One Rewards Points to partner airlines and hotels:

Step 1: Check your Capital One Rewards account

The first step is to make sure you have enough Capital One Rewards Points for the transfer. Log in to your Capital One Rewards account and check your point balance. You can also check the transfer ratio for each partner airline or hotel, most of which are a 1:1 ratio.

Step 2: Choose a partner airline or hotel

Capital One Rewards program has several airline and hotel partners. Make sure to research the partner's transfer ratio and redemption options to ensure that you're getting the best value for your points.

Step 3: Link your accounts

To transfer your Capital One Rewards Points to a partner airline or hotel, you need to link your accounts. Log in to your Capital One Rewards account, scroll down to “convert rewards” and select the partner airline or hotel that you want to transfer your points to, then follow the prompts to link your accounts. If you don’t have an account with the airline or hotel, sign up to generate an account number.

Step 4: Transfer your points

Once you've linked your accounts, you can transfer your Capital One Rewards Points. Log in to your Capital One Rewards account, select the partner airline or hotel that you want to transfer your points to, enter the number of points you want to transfer, and follow the prompts to complete the transfer. Keep in mind that transfer times vary depending on the partner from just seconds up to 24-48 hours, so be sure to check the transfer times for your chosen partner. Once you transfer points, you can’t get them back to your Capital One account, so make sure you have confirmed availability for the awards you want to book.

Step 5: Book your flight or hotel stay

After your points have been transferred, you can book your flight or hotel stay directly with the partner. Make sure to take note of any blackout dates, restrictions, or fees that may apply. You may also need to pay additional taxes or fees when redeeming your points.

Transferring Capital One Rewards Points to partner airlines and hotels is a great way to get more value out of your points. By following these steps, you can transfer your points and book your travel rewards hassle-free.
